[Jeffery Lee] Nepal Everest Journey winter 2011 part 4/4

This was a vertical view of shoot just a min after my horizontal one and you can see the foggy start to build around Amadablam before it been covered entirely.

This view was on Tengboche sunrise against on Kongde range. It was beautiful moment I will never forget on such gravitation and magnificent.

Last light on Amadablam. She is very photogenic in different angle and timing for composition. I reckon this view would be rare for almost people. I got to run back my guest house after this shot before complete dark. No street lamp there.

I said this is a sky city of Nepal, Dingboche 4530m a popular revive stop for trekker and climber headed to Everest or Ama Dablam. I woke up in dark and walked up to a small hill oversee this small village. The highest building in the middle is a temple and highest number of monks is living there in Everest area. I saw some photos in a cloudy day you would feel like living on top of sky.

Ama Dablam is one of most beautiful mountain in the world. She is located in the Himalaya range and 6812m. Ama Dablam means Mother's necklace. Also she is the third most popular peak for expeditions. This photo was the last light on her summit before I head back to my dinner.

Chukhung 4800m, my 10th day of my trek. Always felt not enough air and felt oxygen hungry. I was standing in about -25 degree C and fascinated the full moon declining on the ice peaks in the western background. I keep moving my icy fingers to avoid the blood stop flowing. A cold silent morning I spend 10 days to be there is always right worth. My photo never and never show my experience i had there. A lot of detail is reserved on larger version on my homepage.

Pangboche Amadablam. After out highest destination return from Chukhung. I decided to stop on the way at Pangboche a very little town. I spend 1 hour walk down to this valley in sub zero temp. walking on snow. Lucky didn't wet my shoe and quick enough to snap this shoot before morning foggy.

Nothing much we could do due to bad snowy storm and had been trapped in a lodge in Tengboche. The heater is the most lovely thing in every lodge. Every people just like to seat around it to chat. Due to transport is only do by human and animal, firewood need to be preserve and use well without any waste. People always put a kettle on ...top of fire heater to spend any energy in most efficiency way.

In the middle is my private guide and orange hat guy is the boss of lodge

Monjo. A beautful morning when I was on a cliff to view the rivers joining along this beautiful valley. The steam is melting glacier from Everest range. The big rivers sound echoing around the cliffs in last few million years.

Shomare Lodge boss and his son. What their job is clean up snow on his roof and prepare a long way trip to shopping food in Namche town which one days always from Shomare.

Usually Lodge boss are rich people there and this man own around 3 yaks and a house to help him to carry rice and food uphill.

Dingboche 4530m I spend 8 days arrival this amazing famous place and witness the sunset of Dingboche against a snowy mountains. Weather changes rapidly everyday and for just 5 mins after done this shot the entire area became foggy and icy cold.

I was surrounding in a ice desert and peaks. Photo took at Dingboche, Nepal Everest region.

I spends about 14 days trekking on Nepal everest range. It was my hardest trip, low oxygen and very very long ascent path. In photos, I am waiting on airport bus flight to lukla, the most dangerous airport with very short runway and high accident rate. Due to bad weather, fight been delay often. We just luck been delay just an hour and  I experienced most beautiful sky view on Everest range top and most scare flight experience in my life.  I couldn't believe after serous rocking before landing I survive with such a small airplane.

After 3 days hard trekking, we arrival Tengboche. This  view on 3860m the overview the Kongde range sunrise after 2 days snowing storm. I spend sometime to climb up here with very slow step in thin oxygen but worth to see this view.

A Nepal boy in Shomare village, after few days sick I decided to have a small trek 4 hours and stayed in this small village 4010m.

In the evening I trekked half hour to this view point and was waiting for last sunset light on this beautiful and famous peak Ama Danblam 6814m.

I spend 40 mins to walk down to valley of Pangboche 3930m. A nice shoot of a full moon dawn before sunrise. I was standing on Duch Kosi river.
